The big tower of the hotel has got 16 plus floors. There are only 2 small lifts for the whole building for guests and staff. At times I had to wait for the lift more than 40 minutes.I have wasted most of my time waiting for the lift.Really apalling There is only one restaurant serving the two buiding towers and it was getting unpleasant at meal times as there were no seats available and guests were waiting next to the tables shouting .

The hotel is very central, clean and friendly. We would stay again. They had entertainment every night, We liked that while we were there they were no children, I think the hotel does allow children, but the stay we had did not have any.
Room was a bit small, but clean. Could have had a tea and coffee facilites in room as standard. Breakfast was ok but the tea and coffee machine at breakfast was not good. Entertainment was in hotel but could be better for english people, not too our liking
With hotel being central it is near food and drink outlets, as well as the marina, and train stops.

We stayed here for two weeks in April / May 2009. The reception were helpfull, the maids were very thorough and the rooms spotlessly clean, though the furniture and fixtures were old dated and tired.
The inner part of the hotel floors are open plan and you can see every floor level and the people upon them, it echo's very loudly and you can hear everything. People unwittingly slam their room doors and the building shudders, also you can hear people talking on all floors very noticeable late at night and you can't avoid waking up. The food is low quality like a cafeteria with poor choice and every meal there were only frozen chips and the food extremely repetative. There was entertainment advertised in the evenings but none occurred. tea and coffee at breakfast was horrendous, take your own. On Friday and Saturday nights the local young people gather outside the front of the hotel on the promenade and use it as a central meeting place, they are all fairly decent but there were about two hundred of them and the noise was friendly / rowdy, this goes on until about 4am both nights and it keeps you awake. We will not return to this hotel
The hotel is in a usefull central position at the centre of Fuenghirola on the sea front , with a beautiful long wide promenade that goes for several miles. Fuenghirola is very flat for walking and is a wonderfull resort and caters for disabled people in wheelchares ( you can hire motorised wheelchares they are very popular ), Choice of hotel and location is essential. Restaurants cafes and bars are suitable for all tastes and prices. A very nice resort.

Clean. Pleasant staff. Good Lifts. Good Swimming Pool with lovely views.
Dangerous small step from Bathroom into Bedroom. Breakfast food undercooked. Coffee and Fruit Juice from Machine in Restaurant was awful. Foyer needs a big Clock.
Usual things in Fuengirola. Large selection of affordable Restaurants. Lovely Beach which is well maintained.

excellent value 3 star
good facilities,staff efficient and helpful,location
plenty to do due to good location

great position from beach and local facilities

Great location right on the beach front, and close to local bars and huge restaurant area of the town. Large, airy hotel with impressive marble reception area. Unusual layout with two towers, linked by one common reception area. Pool located on top of lower tower, with plenty of sunbeds, and lovely fresh breeze - great for those really hot days. Great views over the town and harbour area from our room, which was on the 12th floor. Rooms were small with two single beds which was fine, but don't come here if you like the finer things in life! It was reasonable for the cost - and we weren't in the hotel that much for it to be a major issue.
Decor and facilities quite dated, and the hall carpets in our tower were pretty shabby. Dodgy paintings from the 70's on the walls, and our room, whilst spotlessly clean, was in dire need of updating and renovating.
Beach, lots of restaurants about two streets back.... seemed to be hundreds of them! Watch out for the African bootleg sellers though - nice enough but they got to be a real pain by the end of our short break. You couldn't have two mouthfuls of your dinner in a restaurant without being pestered to buy dodgy CD's, DVD's, sunglasses etc. Also worth a trip into Benalmadena to the marina - only 20 euros in a cab, and it's really lovely especially at night. Loads of restaurants, bars and late night drinks/dancing if you want it. Would also definitely recommend the catamaran trips...there's on operate by an English bloke which is really good and well worth the 25 euros or so for a two hour trip.
