The Haas Haus building was designed by Pritzker Prize winner Hans Hollein; later, in an unusual move, it was retrofitted to its present incarnation by Hollein himself. How to get there
From the Airport/Bratislava (Highway A4): exit for Zentrum (centre) and proceed into Untere Donaustrasse. Continue straight ahead until Obere Donaustrasse, turn left over Aspern Bridge (cross the Donaukanal), passing Urania on the left, into Stubenring. Drive straight ahead into Parkring, pass Stadtpark on the left. Turn right into Liebenberggasse, and after a few metres turn left into Seilerstätte and immediately on the right turn into Singerstrasse, which ends opposite the hotel.
