The resort blends high-end design with Middle Eastern exotica to create a truly exceptional desert retreat. Located on a polo estate, the resort is nestled amidst rolling green fields that contain a riding school and scores of rare wild birds. Renovated in 2009, the air-conditioned resort comprises 26 guestrooms and offers a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom, hairdressing salon and children's playground. Food and drinks are provided at the café, bar and restaurant. WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, a car park, a garage and bicycle hire services are also available.
Room description
The suites at the hotel provide indulgent luxury, whether choosing the 45-square-metre Palm Suite or the 557-square-metre Villa Layali. All suites feature chic modern design and come with central air conditioning and heating, private bar, 40-inch flat screen satellite/cable television, and Bang and Olufsen surround sound. Some suites offer views of polo fields and the Dubai skyline, while others have their own private pools. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with shower, bath and hairdryer. Further standard features include king-size bed, direct dial telephone, radio, hifi system, Internet access, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and ironing set.
Sport activities description
The luxury resort offers glamorous daytime excursions such as 4x4 desert safaris, hot air balloon rides, and camel racing. Guests can also take in cosmopolitan Dubai with shopping or cultural city tours. It also features a range of recreational activities including tennis, camel and horseback riding, wine-tasting, cooking tutorials and bird watching. With 4 full-size championship polo fields and stables within the grounds, guests can enjoy the excitement of a thrilling polo match. The resort has its very own spa centre. Offering 6 treatment rooms, guests can enjoy a wide variety of treatments, massages and relaxation therapies. Guests may enjoy a refreshing dip in the outdoor heated swimming pool or relax on the sun loungers on the sun terrace. Active guests may enjoy a workout in the gym. Furthermore, the resort has a hot tub, sauna, steam room and facilities to play squash and basketball. Entertainment programmes are provided for children.
