Sport activities description

Guests are welcome to pamper themselves in the designer spa and in the two heated indoor swimming pools. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the fully equipped fitness centre with gym and sauna. The three round outdoor swimming pools are set amidst 30,000 m² of Mediterranean-style gardens which extend up to the cliff's edge, just over the white sands of São Rafael beach. Children can enjoy a separate swimming area, and the poolside snack bar is a convenient place to grab refreshments. Sun loungers and parasols have been laid out for use. Guests may also take advantage of the massage and spa treatments (fees apply to both). There are facilities available for a range of water sports, including diving, surfing, windsurfing, sailing and catamaran boating (fees apply to the latter). Guests wishing to explore the area on their own steam may hire bicycles from the establishment, and the hotel offers an entertainment programme for children. The Herdade dos Salgados golf course is located approximately 5 km from the hotel (greens fees apply). Sun loungers and parasols may be hired on the nearby beach.

Links to the public transport network are located within 2 minutes' walk of the hotel, and the train station is roughly 7 km away. The hotel is just around 50 m from the pristine, sandy beach. Faro Airport is located about 35 km away.
