This quiet and exclusive hotel resort, renovated in 2007, combines excellent service with a secluded location. A sophisticated ambience is created by the luxurious waterfront hotel's lounge areas, original frescoes and countless stylish touches. The hotel offers a total of 310 rooms, is completely air-conditioned and includes a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange, lift access, a café, bar and restaurant, a hairdressing salon, Internet access (charges apply), room service (charges apply), a car park, a kids' club and a play area.
Room description
The rooms on offer form an extensive selection: Rooms in the main building are carefully decorated and have sea views. Bungalows have direct access to the beach, open-plan bedrooms and lounge areas. Deluxe suites have en suite marbled bathrooms with Jacuzzis and extensive lounge and dining areas, among other facilities. Dream villas are surrounded by gardens, and each have their own swimming pool, two bedrooms and a shared terrace. All rooms have sea views, are en suite and contain a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a minibar, a safe and a hairdryer as standard. The rooms have balconies or terraces and air conditioning units that can be individually regulated.
Sport activities description
There are daytime activities for both adults and children, such as breathing and relaxation techniques and aerobics, and evening entertainment such as folklore shows, dancing to the hotel's band, pianists and much more (charges apply). The hotel also has a gym, one outdoor pool and one indoor pool, one of which is filled with saltwater, and water aerobic classes are offered. For an additional charge, guests can go surfing, wind surfing or canoeing and can hire pedaloes and tennis courts. Table tennis tables are also available. There is also a golf course 14 km from the hotel.
Meal service description
A breakfast buffet and a late continental breakfast are provided. Either a full buffet or a set meal (varies according to the season) are served in the main restaurant at midday and a la carte menus are available in the pool restaurant. Dinner is served in the main restaurant: a 5 course meal and desserts from a wide choice at the buffet. A la carte meals are served in the speciality restaurant 'Aristos' (table reservations necessary).
Comments from hotel
Guests on half-board wishing to take meals at the Speciality Restaurant instead of a standard meal will be given a price reduction. Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers during the evening. 24-hour room service at an extra charge.

The resort is located in the charming old town of Corfu. Kommeno is a peninsula with exclusive villas, situated between the towns of Dassia and Gouvia. To the right are views over Corfu and the yachting marina in Gouves, whilst on the left are the Gulf of Dassia and the mountains of mainland Greece. The centre of Corfu is 12 km from the hotel, The Isle of Ponitkonissi 15 km away, Achillejon Palace and Aggelokastro 20 km away and the Byzantine Fortress 23 km away.

How to get there
From Corfu take the main road (national road) to Paliokastritsa. After about 8 km turn right at the Dassia road sign and turn right again at the road sign to Kommeno. Then follow the signs to the hotel.
