Hotel description Chedi Chiang Mai
The design intention of the scheme was to combine a city location with the atmosphere of a resort hotel, together with the integration of the existing colonial house, site and hotel using a contemporary interpretation of traditional Thai materials. The hotel was opened in 2004, has a total of 84 rooms spread over three buildings, of which 74 are singles and 10 doubles. In the lobby of the main building of 5 floors, the reception is open 24 hours with money exchange service, safe and a lift. Additional facilities include a café, a kiosk, a conference room and an á la carte restaurant with highchairs for children. Guests will be able to use the Internet access and room service, laundry and medical services. For those arriving by car there are parking spaces available.
Room description
Rooms are fitted with floor to ceiling windows welcoming sunlight streams and illuminating the clean and contemporary room's neutral hues and natural fibres. The rooms are decorated in an Asian style and come with a bathroom, a hairdryer and a king-sized bed. A direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a minibar, a hire safe and an Internet terminal are also included.
Sport activities description
The swimming pool is for the enjoyment of in-house guests, and it overlooks the Mae Ping River. Pool towels are available from the pool attendants. The spa is located adjacent to the swimming pool. The spa facilities include ten private, contemporary Asian style spa suites. The Health Club, located on the second floor, offers a wide choice of equipment ranging from resistance training, cardiovascular and free weights as well as a separate aerobics room.

Breakfast is on offer each morning. Lunch and dinner may be taken à la carte or chosen as a set menu.

This hotel is situated in the centre directly on the banks of the Mae Ping River. Thanks to its central location, a vast array of shops and entertainment venues can be reached on foot within a few minutes. The airport is approximately 6 km away (a 15-minute drive).

How to get there
From Chiang Mai Airport, head towards the Mahidol Road, upon reaching the T intersection turn right on to Mahidol Road. Head straight for 1.9 km and turn left onto Chiang Mai Holland road for 850 meters then turn left onto Chang Klan Road Follow the road for 1.4 km and turn right to Sri Don Chai road for 400 meters to reach the T junction and turn right. The hotel sign will be on the left.
