How to get there
On exiting the airport take the motorway in direction to Funchal. Look carefully for the numbered exits plates on the motorway and leave on exit nº 13 indicating: Funchal (Boa Nova); Palheiro Ferreiro. Check your speed as the exit ramp is quite short and turn right following the sign indicating: Palheiro Ferreiro; Palheiro Golf. After the S' bend take the first turning to your left following always the signs up the hill to Palheiro Golf. On entering Palheiro Estate you will see the sign indicating Casa Velha to your left. Another 500m and you are here.
