Hotel description Calderon
This recently-built ski hotel was renovated in 2009. It has a quiet family atmosphere with a total of 24 rooms. The premises are air-conditioned and guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. There is also a hotel safe, a cloakroom, lift access and a TV lounge on the premises. The hotel also offers an à la carte restaurant, café and a barbecue area. WLAN Internet access is available and guests can also take advantage of the hotel's room and laundry services. Those arriving by car may park their vehicles in the hotel's car park (fees apply).
Room description
Rooms are decorated with rustic décor and have a tranquil ambiance. All of them have individually regulated air conditioning (hot / cold), a TV with music channels, a desk, chair, telephone and exterior windows. Rooms are furnished with double beds and Internet access is available. Each room also has a full en suite bathroom with a shower, bath, hairdryer and amenities. Rooms come with their own balcony or terrace.
Sport activities description
The hotel offers its guests various horse riding routes and classes of riding in the Equestrian Centre (previous payment required). Guests can also go on a bike ride (hire fees apply).
Meal service description
The hotel has a cafeteria and an à la carte restaurant, where clients can taste the typical regional dishes based on traditional cuisine. During spring, summer and autumn it also offers a wonderful outdoor barbecue area on the summer terrace, overlooking the mountains.

The hotel is situated on the main avenue Cenes de la Vega, right in the centre of town. It is surrounded by shops, supermarkets and restaurants. For guests to reach the centre of Granada, there is a commuter bus stop at the hotel's door, making the trip every 10 minutes. Granada Airport is approximately 22 km from the hotel and Malaga Airport is approximately 134 km from the hotel.

How to get there
If guests arrive at the city of Granada by road from Madrid, Jaén, Málaga, Seville, Córdoba, Valencia, Alicante or Murcia, they should continue on, following the signs toward Motril, where they will find the exit Ronda Sur-Sierra Nevada-Alhambra. About 1500 metres after this exit, guests will enter the Serrallo Tunnel. Once it has been passed through (keep in the left lane at all times) guests will find a roundabout, turn right and then there will be a sign indicating that the hotel is 1600 metres away.
