OVERALL A PLEASANT AND VERY GOOD VALUE STAY.WE WILL COME AGAIN.
THE PATIO DOOR TO THE VERANDA WAS UNLOCKED AND THEREFORE THE ROOM WAS INSECURE FOR MOST OF OUR STAY. HOWEVER, STAFF WERE QUICK TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM WHEN INFORMED. JUST FYI FOR THE FUTURE SAFETY OF GUESTS.

Not many positive reviews. The breakfast was nice, but staff was a little slow.
We came up for a funeral. The pool was shut for maintenance, even though I asked the day before if it was opened. The receptionists were stand offish and when I arrived the receptionist was on the phone, she didn't acknowledge I was there and I waited for 10 minutes. There was a great big TV in the lounge area and was on sky news with no sound. We asked if this could be turned up and was told no as the music was on. The window in my room 209, wouldn't lock. So it kept opening and keeping me awake. My parents had the same experience with the receptionist when they arrived. When we left and handed out card keys in, the receptionist just looked at me and didn't say a word, very odd.

Beautiful setting, not too near motorway. Good value and excellent facilities

As usual with these wedding venues, Best Western seem to think it is obligatory to rip off their guests. Their drinks prices are ridiculous. All 330ml bottles are £4. Pint bottle Bulmers cider, £4.90. And just so they can encourage people not to drink and drive, large coke, £1.80, criminal !!!!!! As for the draught bitter, Thwaites Smooth, a lovely pint of beer. Not here its not, I managed half a pint before going on the bottled stuff, as they have no idea how to keep and serve beer, it was disgusting.
