Room description

All of the hotel's spacious, recently renovated rooms, are furnished in a warm, elegant manner and decorated in a classical style. Each room features satellite TV, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a mini fridge, direct dial telephone, safe, Wi-fi Internet access and individually controlled air conditioning and heating. All rooms are non-smoking and some have a view of the Duomo.

The hotel's bar offers a selection of cold drinks, coffee, tea, espresso, cappuccino, and traditional Italian wines and liquors. The reception is closed from 1 am at night to 6:30 am (but guests can go in and out if they like). Check-in is available from 6:30 am to 1:00 in the morning. Parking is available in the nearby garage but for an extra cost which varies depending on the size of the car. All the hotel area is for non smoking.

Just 150 metres from the city's world-famous Duomo and 400 metres from the superb Uffizi gallery, the hotel has a great location for exploring all that Florence has to offer. Shopping venues, restaurant, bars and the Duomo Square bus station can be found right on the hotel's doorstep, while Santa Maria train station is just a 7-minute walk away. Other places of interest, such as the Piazza della Repubblica, Ponte Vecchio and the Accademia Museum, are all in the immediate vicitinity, as is the Arno River. How to get there

By car: take the Firenze Certosa exit from the A1 motorway (A1 also reachable from the A11), otherwise exit for Firenze South or North on the A11. Florence historical centre is a Traffic Limited Zone, controlled by cameras and traffic wardens. Tourists can enter the centre to reach their hotel. But be careful not to drive in the bus/taxi only lanes, marked in yellow.
