overall good review
very good location in London, competitive price-quality ratio, the room was modern and always clean and well rearranged by staff;
there wasn't the small frigo bar and the air conditioning in the room; the breakfast had little choice and the time was too restrictive;

Good location as near the tube. Nice clean room and bathroom.
Was on the 5th floor and proved very hot in the room, thankfully there was a fan so it kept the room cool.

Very clean and modern. Good breakfast staff
Dark, cramped little room in basement, NOT a double room. Poor welcome on arrival...no smiles, no greeting. tiny little bathroom which was impossible to undress in. very clean but no phone in room for emergencies, nor enough sanitary items. Very poor... It was as if energy had been put into making the place with only money in mind and no emphasis on customer service. I will be actively discouraging anyone I know from paying to stay here.

nice modern decor and facilities in the reception and rooms. Price for the area was very good. Warm and relatively quiet also.
our room was quite small, and didn't really have enough room for all your stuff such as travel bags, shoes, coats and toiletries. Some extra surface space and shelving would be better as well as coat hooks. Bizarrely, one day the guy on reception actually locked the front door of the hotel for around 20 minutes (or thats how long we were waiting) while he apparently attended to one of the rooms. By the time he appeared there were about 15 people waiting to get either in or out!!!! Not good service.
Nice choice of pubs, cafe's and restaurants very close to the hotel as well a gloucster road tube stop. Also the natural history and science museums are only 10 mins walk.

Located 4mins from Tube, quiet street yet shops/fast food by Tube entrance. Lovely room that had recently been redecorated.Clean and we would definatley stay again if when we next visit London. Pleasant staff on check-in desk and the rooms were lovely and warm..thank goodness as we visited over the New Year and it was freezing outside!
my only moans are the windows in our room ( 112) were draughty..try excluder!! and the toaster at breakfast was a little tempremental...these are just tiny moans tho and we were delighted with the hotel, its location and the price we paid over the New Year was excellent!!
fabulous steaks at Green Door Restaurant...not cheap but excellent quality.. although I do think its bad you have to pay extra for a side order of chips to go with your steak!! Also a very handy Tesco Express by Tube entrance. (didnt really explore the local surroundings too much so cant comment on any attractions nearby)

Great (modern) rooms , Luggage room, near the Tube + shops.
Different clothing for the "breakfast staff".
Old Brompton Road (Hummingbird Bakery, Carluccio's),Visit the local pub, visit the Science museum.

Its a great location, situated 5 mins walk from Glouster Road tube station and 5 mins from the Natural History museum and Science museum. We had a problem with the shower and the staff fixed it straight away, no fuss. The rooms were clean. The hotel is in a quiet area for sleeping, but 5 mins away are a small collection of cafes, a bar, and fast food places.
The rooms were hot! We had a small table fan, but it was roasting. The breakfast was adequate, but most mornings we had to queue 10 minutes for toast, and sometimes a table. The girls working the breakfast room work very hard, but the layout of the room doesn't work well, leading to queues and unlaid tables shortages of milk etc... This needs improved upon.
