The shower did not work properly. The TV did not work properlyThe furniture in the room was shabby. It was very noisy where we were on the 7th floor. We were most disappointed because we have booked through you in several places over the past few years and this is the first time that we have not been satisfied with the accommodation.

Superb location for the centre of Madrid and its sights, bars and restaurants. The hotel looks fantastic from the outside but looks a little dated inside. That said itsvery clean and the staff where spot on. The one complaint I would have would be that with the rooms not having double glazing, you can hear peoples conversations on the street below. We were on the 1st floor which didn't help but were kept awake most of the night by passing tourists, buses and taxis. Don't let this put you off though, just ask to be put on a higher floor as I'm sure it will be fine.In terms of location, like I say, superb. So close to Puerta Del Sol and the shopping district. Plenty and plenty of bars and restaurants in and around the hotel. Great Italian over the road, plus you have to go to the Museo Del Jamon on Calle San Jeronimo. Authentic spanish tapas bar, serving great food and drink for a bargain. It looks like a butchers but its full of locals enjoying the spanish life! Just go in! Can't fault Madrid - I loved it!ps - do the Bernabeu tour too!

Room could have done with a lick of paint nothing important but otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

This hotel is located in probably the best position in Madrid and is well worth risking the variations in the rooms and the fact that it can sometimes be noisy. This was our third visit to the same hotel - staff are all helpful and location perfect its surrounded by wonderful tapas bars near the underground and in walking distance of Courte Ingles.

Well situated clean hotel with good staff. Always a simple, friendly and helpful reception. May only have ** for facilities but feels much better. No wonder it is a busy hotel

Typical 2 star hotel, but central, slightly cramped room, no air conditioning.
