The hotel was renovated in 2009 and is housed in a building originally constructed in 1800 in the historical centre of Salvador. It was entirely restored to preserve its original appearance while adding the comfort and modernity which today's traveller requires. On the ground floor there is a 24-hour reception desk, a spacious dining room, and a cosy sitting room with views of the city streets. On the first and second floors there are seven stylishly decorated rooms. Facilities include a 24-hour check-out service, a cloakroom, cafe, Internet access and a laundry service.
Room description
The hotel's rooms are spacious, bright and well ventilated, with large windows and private bathrooms. They are equipped with a ceiling fan, double bed, cable TV and a minibar. In the morning, a copious breakfast is served in the dining room, with different fruit juices and local delicacies prepared by the chef. How to get there
From the airport: Take the Praça da Sé-Pelourinho bus (Cathedral Square) and arrive at the final stop. Follow the route described for those arriving at the inter-municipal bus station. By road: take the Praça da Sé-Pelourinho bus. Get off the bus at the final stop. Turn right and head towards the Lacerda elevator. Go straight, passing the Lacerda elevator and continue to walk towards the Praça da Sé. At the end of the square, turn right, and enter another square, called the Terreiro de Jesus. Cross the square towards the SAT (Serviço de Atendimento ao turista /Tourist Service Centre), which is located up the street from the hotel.
