Opened in June 2007, the hotel has become a reference in the world of luxury hotels. It features 50 rooms in an entirely renovated 19th century manor house, 21 villas of pure contemporary design, a 2,200 m² spa for pure indulgence and a 5-hectare woodland by the river bank in the magnificent setting of the Douro Valley. The air-conditioned establishment features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. Room description
The rooms and villas come with river and vineyard views, tucked amongst lush, tree-filled gardens. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, bath and hairdryer. Sport activities description

How to get there
From Vila Real (33 km): take the A24 towards Viseu and leave at the Armamar exit. Bear right descending towards the river. At the roundabout head for Resende on the N222. Cross the bridge and turn right onto the N222 Resende. Continue for about 4 km. From Oporto (142 km): take the A4 for Vila Real, the IP4 main route towards Amarante and then the A24 for Viseu. Take the Armamar exit and then right descending towards the river. At the roundabout, head for Resende on the N222. Cross the bridge and turn right onto the N222 Resende. From Lisbon (364 km): take the A1 towards Aveiro and then the A25 for Viseu. Continue on the A24 towards Vila Real and take the Armamar exit. Take a right descending towards the river. At the roundabout head for Resende on the N222. Cross the bridge and turn right onto the N222 Resende.
