The hotel, built in the early sixties, has 46 spacious double and twin bedrooms, all with refurbished en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers its guests an à la carte restaurant, a bistro bar for snacks, a café, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. For additional fees guests may take advantage of the Internet access and room and laundry services. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with either a shower or a bath, individually regulated air conditioning or a fan cooling system, central heating and multi-lingual satellite TV. Each room also comes with a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, safe (at a charge), minibar (at a charge), fridge (at a charge), tea and coffee making facilities (at a charge), and a balcony or terrace.

Sport activities description

The hotel features an outdoor saltwater swimming pool with plenty of space on the sun terrace for sunbathing on sun loungers with parasols, and an on-site diving school. Refreshments are available at the poolside snack bar. Massages are provided for a fee.

The hotel is situated right on the edge of Xemxija Bay, the tiny inlet renowned for its tranquil surroundings, wonderful views and glorious sunshine, and is perfectly situated for those hoping to get out and about to explore the many historical and noteworthy sites the islands have to offer. Links to public transport are within around a 5-minute walk and the bus station is roughly 3 km away. The beach is some 3.5 km from the hotel.

How to get there

From the international airport of Luqa, Malta, head north east towards Triq Hal Qormi and turn left. Go right towards Triq Hal Luqa and turn left onto Triq Hal Farrug. Take the first exit left onto Triq Hal Luqa and turn left towards Triq Guze' Duca. Continue straight on. Go left onto Triq Mdina and take the 2nd exit left onto Triq L-Imdina. Take a right onto Triq Is-Siggiewi. Go right onto Vjal IL-Helsien, turn left and then straight on to Triq Sir Temi Zammit. Go left and turn right into Triq San Pawl Tal Qliegha. Turn right into Xatt Il-Pwales and go left. Continue on It-Telegha Tax-Xemxija. Turn right and take the first street on the left. The hotel will be on the right-hand side.
