Hotel description Amaraigua
This 101-room hotel was completely renovated in 2001/2002, but every year different areas of the hotel are being updated. The hotel provides guests with services such as a restaurant, bar, and baggage room. All areas are air conditioned and have central heating, security cameras and fire alarms. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. A TV lounge, kids' club and a children's playground also feature. For an additional fee, guests can hire bikes.
Room description
The en suite rooms are fully equipped with a double bed, individually regulated air conditioning and heating units, satellite TV, suitcase storage and a safe (on request). All rooms have a balcony or terrace.
Sport activities description
There is a swimming pool in the hotel grounds, which features a children's swimming area and a poolside snack bar, sun terrace, sun loungers and parasols. There is a gym, hot tub and a sauna. Throughout the high season the hotel has an entertainment team, who plan daily activities for all of the guests. Some of the activities that guests can enjoy are aerobics, aqua aerobics, Spanish classes, darts competitions, pool/snooker, table football, football, beach volleyball and mini golf. Table tennis, biking, bocce, bowling and badminton are also available. At night guests can enjoy a disco, karaoke, live music and sketches.
Meal service description
The restaurant offers a wide variety of international and national meals and dishes, in different buffets. In high season, every Friday the hotel prepares a special ‘Gala Dinner' where guests can try out typical Mediterranean and national dishes.

This family-friendly hotel is situated on the main Malgrat de Mar beach, Maresme Coast. From the hotel to the village centre is only 400 m. The seafront with its shops, restaurants, bars and clubs is just 50 m from the hotel. The Tordera River and the Sant Genís de Palafolls forest are just a 30-minute walk away. Calella is 10 minutes' drive away, and Barcelona can be reached in 80 minutes using public transport. The main train station is just 450 m away. Barcelona International Airport (BCN) is 69 km away, and Girona-Costa Brava Airport (GRO) is only 37 km from the hotel.
