Set in a small building, this charming, family-friendly beach hotel has 36 rooms with private terraces and 30 rooms facing the ocean. It was recently renovated, in 2008. For guests' convenience, the hotel has direct access to the beach and to 3 souvenir shops. Guests are welcomed into a reception hall with 24-hour check-in and check-out service. The décor is in a traditional African spirit, and the staff is very friendly. Facilities include air conditioning, currency exchange, a cloakroom, a newspaper stand, a night club and a car park. For dining and drinks, guests can enjoy the hotel's own bar and restaurant. There are also conference facilities, and room and laundry services are on offer as well (the latter for a fee).
Room description
The rooms are quiet and feature traditional décor. Each room comes with a double bed, as well as individually regulated air conditioning, a ceiling fan, TV, a small fridge and a private bathroom with shower and hot water. This hotel is located on one of the largest beaches in La Somone. It is just a 5-minute walk from the centre. It is 75 km south of Dakar and 8 km from the Saly tourist centre. Situated in a very quiet area, it is near the ornithological reserve of the Lagune.
