This hotel is an exclusive family-run boutique hotel owned by Jerusalem's oldest and best known family. The historical 19th-century building was completely rebuilt as a hotel with the highest standards in 1997, retaining its original entrance and façade. The hotel has since undergone renovation works. Amenities include air conditioning, a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access. A café, restaurant, conference facilities, WLAN Internet access and a laundry service also feature. Room service is available for a fee, and a car park is provided for guests arriving by car (fees apply).

Room description

The rooms feature an en suite marble bathroom with hot tub, bath, shower and hairdryer, as well as a double or king-size bed. A large separate seating area, a generous work space, in-room safe, ironing set, two or more phones, 2 plasma TVs with satellite/cable channels, a hi-fi system with radio and WLAN Internet access with unlimited surfing (for a fee) all come as standard. A minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated air conditioning and heating also feature, as do French windows and/or a balcony or terrace. Some units offer a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave.

Sport activities description

The hotel offers a sun terrace with sun parasols, a hot tub and massage treatments (fees apply for the latter).

Meal service description

Breakfast is served as a continental-style buffet, while lunch and dinner are available in buffet form, à la carte or as a set menu.

This boutique hotel is ideally located in the historic centre of Jerusalem, within easy walking distance of the city's main attractions. The walls and gates of the Old City are a 5-minute walk away, while St. George's Cathedral is a 2-minute walk away. The Rockefeller Museum and the Al-Aqsa Mosque are also easily accessible on foot. Major foreign diplomatic missions, including the British Consulate-General, the US Consulate and most European consulates, can be found within 5 minutes' walking distance. The area is well served by public transport with direct access to Tel Aviv, all other coastal towns and the West Bank.

How to get there

From the airport, head for Jerusalem. On approaching the city, turn left at the third set of traffic lights onto Yirmiyahu Street. Continue uphill as far as the Bar-Ilan junction. Turn right onto Shmuel HaNavi Street, continuing straight on as far as the Zveil Institutes roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and pass through the junction. The entrance to the hotel is on the street on the right-hand side of the roundabout (not the small inner road, the parallel one).
