The fully air-conditioned hotel is a luxury hotel comprising a total of 476 rooms and set in a complex of 160 hectares. It is surrounded by volcanic landscapes, banana plantations, and exuberant vegetation with over 300 varieties of plants, trees and palms. Guests can enjoy panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera. There are 9 restaurants offering from informal to exquisite gourmet cuisine, 5 themed bars, including a Sportsbar and a reading room. Other services include free parking, currency exchange, and a 24-hour room and laundry service. The hotel offers lift access, a kiosk, a hairdressing salon, a nightclub, games room, WLAN/ Internet access, a kids' club and a children's playground. The business centre offers all the facilities necessary for meetings and conferences.

Room description

The majority of the rooms feature ethnic inspired furnishings and offer magnificent views of the Atlantic, the golf course and the gardens. All rooms offer a fully fitted bathroom with a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. A pillow menu and luxury toiletry products are also available. There is a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, radio, individually adjustable air conditioning, free safety deposit box and balcony or terrace. They also offer Internet access and a minibar for an additional fee. Most rooms offer a double bed. The villas are situated in a private area away from the main complex with access to the private pools. They offer an exclusive check-in and breakfast service, as well as an optional butler service. Non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Sport activities description

The hotel offers guests an exclusive 18-hole golf course with a club house, a specialist shop, golf lessons and a driving range. Guests can choose to move around the different areas of the resort on the golf buggies driven by staff. On the course guests can discover the hundreds of palm trees, cacti and subtropical vegetation, as well as enjoy the marvellous views. Guests can enjoy the 7 swimming pools with spacious sun terraces, sun loungers and parasols. There is a tennis club, a gym, aerobic classes and water aerobics, as well as boat moorings and an entertainment programme for adults and children. The wellness centre offers an atmosphere of harmony and peace to relax the body and mind. It has a floor area distributed over 3 zones: the Recreation Zone with the thermal circuit, sauna, Turkish baths, thermal pool, ice cabin, tepidarium, aromatherapy, Kneipp circuit and cabins; the Treatment Zone with hydrotherapy, massages, music therapy, water jets, mud treatments, exfoliating treatments and the gym; the Beauty Zone with a full range of beauty treatments, facials, dermatological treatments, pedicures, manicures, waxing, solarium and exercise room. The Abama Kid´s Club is complementary for children from 4yrs to 11yrs.

Meal service description

Guests can choose from an endless choice of seafood at a cliff-top venue, a gourmet tasting, an authentic Argentinean Grill, exquisite Italian pasta or the eccentric cooking of Japan. The restaurants include: El Mirador, specialising in seafood, fish and rice, and also open for breakfast for guests staying in the villas; La Veranda, offering an extensive breakfast buffet; La Pampa, with traditional grills; Verona, with delicious pasta and Italian specialities; Abama Kabuki, with Japanese cuisine; Casa Club de Golf, with a variety of dishes on offer; Los Chozos, near to the main swimming pool with a creative menu and an informal atmosphere; Abama Beach, next to the beach with a light menu and refreshing drinks. M.B restaurant is awarded its first Michelin Star thanks to the quality, service, creativity and dedication in all dishes. The restaurant run by Chef Martin Berasategui becomes the main reference gourmet Tenerife. Mb's cuisine lies in the delicate balance between temperatures, flavour and texture, mixing tradition, technique and innovation.
