It is one of the largest hostels in Scandinavia that is open all year round. It has 135 rooms and 255 beds in 2 room categories: backpackers' rooms and ‘eurohostel' rooms. Features available include a lobby, 24-hour reception, hotel safe, lift access and a restaurant. WLAN Internet access is available for a fee.
Room description
There is a table with a chair and at least one lockable wardrobe in each room. Each accommodation floor has its own self-catering facilities with hot plates, microwave oven, lockable refrigerator and TV. The rooms do not have private bathrooms; instead, facilities are shared. Every floor has separate toilet and shower facilities for men and women. Internet access is available in all rooms.

The hostel has a sauna (fee applies).
Meal service description
The restaurant is fully licensed and offers a wide collection of Finnish beers. A breakfast buffet is available daily for an extra charge. In the evenings, the restaurant offers pizza and meals à la carte.

Hotel location description Eurohostel
The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part of town called Katajanokka, close to the Market Square and in a neighbourhood of Art Nouveau/Jugendstil buildings. The city centre sights, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance and the ferries from Stockholm and Tallinn arrive just a few steps away. The train and bus stations are around 2 km away, while Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is about 18 km from the hostel.

How to get there
From Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport: take the Finnair bus to the city terminal by the railway station, or the bus 615 to the railway station to Helsinki city centre. From the station, it is 15-20 minutes' walk to the hostel, or guests can take trams 4 or 4T towards Katajanokka. The trams run approximately every 5 to 10 minutes.
