Naxos is an island in the Aegean Sea. It is off Greece, in the Cyclades archipelago.

We recommend visiting Hora, the island’s capital, where you can see the Portara, a marble temple at the entrance to the port. Other interesting things to see are the Archaeological Museum and the many Venetian monuments in the town.
