    These apartments, superbly located on a hill overlooking the countryside and the Cretan Sea, are in the city of Chania. Guests are advised to use a car or taxi to get here, because even though it is very close to the center, the slope can be a little bit difficult. Chania is a very touristy place, so after a day of hustle and bustle, guests will appreciate the tranquility of the location of the apartments. Aghioi Apostoloi beach is within driving distance as well as the Venetian harbour of the city. Chania-Souda Airport is roughly 11 km away.

Information about Greece - Isles

The Greek Islands are made up of a number of archipelagos, and of the two thousand islands, only two hundred are inhabited.

The common factor among them all is the blue sea, the excellent climate, white villages among steep rocky hills, stepped streets that rise to historic ruins, peaceful harbours, idyllic beaches, olive groves, vineyards and good hospitality. Near Athens is the island of Aegina, with the ruined temple of Aphaea, many churches and the important monastery of St Nectarios. Mykonos, a sophisticated refuge for the international jet set, has a very active nightlife. The island of Naxos is home to a fine Archaeological Museum, the Venetian castle of Jora and the ruins of the Palace of Ariadne.

Delos has some very important ancient remains, including the Terrace of the Lions and many more. Then there is Santorini, whose geological configuration may be the origin of the myth of Atlantis. Here, it is popular to watch the sunset with a glass of wine in one hand. Tasos is the place to see a statue of Dionysus, Poseidon's sanctuary and temples to Apollo, Athena and Heracles. Lesbos has some famous hot springs and is also home to the petrified wood of Singri. Rhodes was once home to one of the wonders of the world, a colossus at the mouth of the harbour. Crete is home to the labyrinthine Palace of Knossos while Corfu has Venetian walls, and the remains of the many cultures that have occupied the island. Visit the paradise that is the Greek islands!
