  • escape the masses

      by   elgreco

The gods must have truly favoured this slice of mediterranean. To this day Greece offers the ultimate blue and white summer escape which enables you to avoid the red lobsters dotting the rest of southern europe's coastline. After spending a few good days in the frenetic city which indluges with a lengthy disco nap every lunch time, you can escape with a drive along the athenian coastline to sounion, savouring the rich patisserie still catering to locals at the bakeries and the golden bodies baking aesthetically in the sun at rocky coves in classical greek glory. With property prices still at a steal and economic indicators that's getting it noticed, this city is not the "next" but the current new Barcelona
