Another important monument is the Palacio Real, which was inaugurated in 1714 by Charles III and is considered one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe.

  • Going to Extremes in Madrid

    The best time to visit Madrid is during the Spring or Autumn when temperatures are milder making sightseeing a much more pleasant experience. And although this is Spain, the weather here isn’t always warm. Head here during the winter, and expect to freeze under blankets of snow, while in the summer, most Madrillenos escape the city when temperatures reach 40 degrees Celsius, especially during August�
