Information about Jardines del Rey - Cayos
Jardines del Rey is an archipelago located off the north coast of the island of Cuba and one of the most popular places among visitors to this country. It has nearly one thousand islands and keys, bordered to the north by a coral reef system that runs for 400 kilometres, being the second longest in the world after Australia's Great Barrier Reef. The crystal-clear waters and white sand beaches contrast with the green of the area's tropical vegetation. The following beaches on Cayo Coco are worth visiting: Las Coloradas, Larga, La Jaula, Flamenco and Prohibida. They are perfect for windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling or fishing. On Cayo Guillermo the best beaches are Del Paso, Del Medio and Pilar; while on Cayo Paredón Grande the most interesting beaches are Los Pinos and Del Norte. There are luxury, comfortable hotels in the Jardines del Rey keys; you can also take a glass-bottom boat to admire the sea life. Visit interesting places such as the Cueva del Jabalí (Wild Boar's Cave), the Laguna de la Leche (the Milk Lagoon), the Bahía de los Perros (Bay of Dogs), La Redonda lake and the Turiguanó island. Come to enjoy these dream Caribbean landscapes. Come to Jardines del Rey.
