
Dinant is a city in the Belgian province of Namur. It is often referred to as “The City of the Saxophone”, as it is the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone.
Dinant has some architectural gems that really deserve a visit: the Citadel of Dinant, built in 1051, which provides some lovely views of the Meuse, the Collegiate Church, which has a lovely bell tower built in 1556, and the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Leffe.
