Innsbruck is an Austrian city that is internationally famous for being a winter sports centre. It is located among high mountains, up to an altitude of 2,400 metres, and is known as the Capital of the Alps.

The old town of Innsbruck has many Gothic buildings with interesting facades; one highlight is the Goldenes Dachl, a symbol of the city.
Other sights worth seeing are: the Imperial Palace, the Court Church, Ambras Castle, St Jacob's Cathedral, the Wilten Basilica, the Anich Museum, the Church of St Peter and Paul and the Hinterlocher Mill.
