Córdoba, capital of the Argentine province of the same name, is the second most populated city in the country. It lies by the Suquía River, in the central-western part of the province.

This important site includes some 17th century buildings constructed by the Jesuits. In the New Córdoba neighbourhood is the Paseo Cultural del Buen Pastor, with an event and exhibition centre, a range of shops and a recreational area.
